Hello, I’m Sonal Bhavsar-Joshi currently living in New Zealand. By occupation I run an Accountancy firm with husband. I’m a Mother to a 4.5 year old mini-me. Other than that, I’m an Artist on a wanderlust: I’ve been crowned Mrs. India New Zealand 2015 Runners Up, I’m an Actress, a Writer, a Dancer, a Choreographer, a Certified Dance Fitness Instructor, a Fashion Model and a Blogger at Food Fashion and Fun with Sonal. I’m also a Core Committee Member of a Gujarati Organisation called GSMNZ where we work towards preserving our Gujarati Culture, Arts, Literature, Language and Heritage here in New Zealand.
My message to whoever reading this is: Always, be true to yourself; it’ll take you a long way. And, keep your priorities straight. You don’t have to be perfect anything. Just be yourself! That’s enough.
So, I had an absolutely amazing time at C.B.Patel Arts College pursuing Bachelor of Arts in English Literature. When anyone mentions C.B.Patel Arts College it brings about an emotion that’s hard to put in words for me. It brings back these golden memories of me studying literature from one of the best Professors and guides: Rajnikant Sir, Sonal ma’m, Mandar ma’m, making notes in the library, rehearsing for Youth Festival, interesting scenarios in the LR and those lunch shares with friends. The College has nourished me as a Student, as a Young Woman, as an Artist and has evolved me into a sensible, responsible, confident and multi-tasking human-being. I’m incredibly grateful for this amazing experience to all my Professors , my Principal, my college; and I always will be. Thank you.
